The CIC has taken group support to a whole new level! The CIC Mobile Environment (CICme) provides an array of exciting new collaboration tools, on-demand meeting info and enhanced staff support all aimed at helping CIC groups share, create, and become better informed of the broad collaborative activities of the CIC in a secure, private environment.
As of Feb. 17, 2009, eligible users will be able to log into CICme using their own local campus login system. Eliminating the need for separate logins and passwords streamlines the collaboration process and will make access to CICme simple, secure and seamless.
This technological breakthrough is unprecedented in academia and a major accomplishment for CIC member institutions. Although CICme is its first application, this framework will greatly expand opportunities to collaboratively develop and share digital resources. It is emblematic of the CIC’s commitment to innovation and efficiency in collaboration.
