FreeApp - Introduction

FreeApp is designed to increase access to graduate education for students who possess qualities and experiences that enhance the diversity of the intellectual, cultural, and social environments at CIC universities.  Through this program, prospective students can request a graduate application fee waiver for Ph.D. or Master of Fine Arts programs at participating universities:

• University of Chicago
• University of Illinois at Chicago
• University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
• Indiana University
• Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis
• University of Iowa
• University of Michigan
• Michigan State University
• University of Minnesota
• Northwestern University
• Ohio State University
• Pennsylvania State University
• Purdue University
• University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

The priority deadline for requests is November 15.  FreeApp requests will not be accepted July 1-August 30.  The site is currently being revised, and will be available in early September 2009.  For more information, contact the appropriate FreeApp Coordinator.
