About this Group
The IT Communications Group is appointed by the CIC Chief Information
Officers (CIOs). The group discusses issues and shares best
practices related to public relations and other communications
about IT to the campuses and beyond.
The IT Communications Group is endorsed and supported by the
CIC Chief Information Officers (CIOs) for the purpose of sharing
information and best practices about broad strategic issues
related to IT communications, which, in turn, further informs
the discussions of the CIOs. This group also provides opportunities
for sharing among those colleagues with like challenges and
interests. The chair of the IT Communications Group represents
the group on the Technology Coordination Committee (TCC) and
submits a biannual report which is compiled into the TCC Status
Reports.
