About this Group
The IT Customer Support Services Group is appointed
by the CIC Chief Information Officers (CIOs). The group discusses
issues and shares best practices related to providing help desk
support and other customer support services.
The IT Customer Support Services Group is endorsed
and supported by the CIC Chief Information Officers (CIOs) for
the purpose of sharing information and best practices about
broad strategic issues related to customer support services,
which, in turn, further informs the discussions of the CIOs.
This group also provides opportunities for sharing among those
colleagues with like challenges and interests. The chair of
the IT Customer Support Services Group represents the group
on the Technology Coordination Committee (TCC) and submits a
biannual report which is compiled into the TCC Status Reports.
