The online application for the 25th edition of the Summer Research Opportunities Program is now open for potential applicants.

SROP is a gateway to graduate education at CIC universities. It helps prepare undergraduates for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities on CIC campuses. The eight-week program culminates with the annual SROP conference, to be held July 15-17, 2011, at the Ohio State University in Columbus.

Now in its 25th year, SROP celebrates the achievements of its alumni.  To date, 571 program alumni have earned a Ph.D. degree and are now preparing the next generation of SROP scholars as mentors and teachers.  Thousands of others have completed graduate training and are pursuing successful careers in government, business and non-profit agencies.
